I get the main page just fine. I open the Heroes page : no problem. (Although I would like to know if there is a way to turn off the sound.) I roll my cursor over the featured video and get “javascript:launchvideo(‘47424’);” and the video plays.
I launch the episode-viewing page and get “Errors on page”. When I roll my cursor over a segment, I get “javascript:void(playVideo(‘heroes’,1));”, and the video won’t play.
Java and JavaScript are not related, so it’s not necessarily a Java plug-in problem. It works for me with Firefox and I have all Java disabled.
You need to have the Flash plug-in (I have version 8), and you need to have JavaScript enabled. In Firefox you can check if JavaScript is enabled by going to Tools -> Options -> Content. Other than that, I’m not sure…
Oslo Ostragoth, I think your setup is probably fine–the Java console is standard. I have IE 7.0 and have exactly the same problem as you. There is an “error on page” and videos don’t work on that page. However, I also have Firefox on my computer, and the videos play just fine in Firefox.
