At 1024x768 resolution, I have these very noticeable horizontal scan lines on my computer. It was fine before, but just half an hour ago I completely cleaned out my computer with the manufacturer’s recovery disc. Upon changing my display settings though, I found these annoying lines on my screen.
The other resolution settings look fine, although I suspect the higher resolutions might actually have the scan lines as well but aren’t very visible since everything is smaller.
1024x768 is my resolution of choice and now my eyes hurt when my monitor’s set at that. I’m on 800x600 and I hope it’s temporary.
Could any of you guys have any ideas as to what I can do to fix this?
