Cause “sensitive” often equals boring, shy or lame. Let’s face it - girls go for a guy who puts on a show. They want someone who stands out from the crowd. If you go to a bar or club to meet a girl and you basically look like every other shmoe in chinos who just got off work, no girl is going to notice you.
Did you even read the OP? Are you aware that this isn’t the pit, but the place to put Polls (which is what this WAS, not an attempt to understand the opposite sex).
The OP was a set of questions brought about by curiosity. Just some questions. You HAVE become somewhat acquainted with our written language, english, haven’t you?
Actually, I wasn’t “assuming” anything. It was an example I outlined. That’s all. I’ve never actually encountered this IRL. I was just curious.
I’ve seen this sort of thing happen in books about relationships, interviews on 20/20, etc. And was just wondering about the male perspective.
In the example, the guy really WAS doing it “just to score”. My questions were to those men that WOULD actually participate in such a scam.

I do NOT think “all men cheat”. I have not even been cheated on. It was a POLL, brought about by mere curiousity, in which I asked (please pay attention) those men who DO cheat (now see? As in the OP, that does NOT in any way equal "all men cheat), to please share their experiences and reasons.
