I was thinking about this at work today and got to wondering if there might be a “gross-out” factor which appeals to men. Consider :
1 : Although it can appeal to women, most porn is made to appeal to men’s fantasies.
2 : Most men would be grossed out by the idea of someone ejaculating on their face.
3 : But, to play into the man’s fantasy, the woman is porno is often portrayed as the ideal slut.
4 : To prtray the “ideal slut” men need to get the idea that the woman would do anything.
Therefore, when a man see the facial, the man thinks, "Ewww, she just took it on her face! If she does that, I’d bet that girl would do anything!
so on the (sort of off topic) discussion of porn and/or the porn industry being exploitative, I’d like to throw out a thought I’ve had about porn for a long time that its a horrible double standard in our society that porn is largely considered marginal and stigmatic, while, say, a pro football player is a cultural icon. Essentially, they are doing very similar jobs, using a personal, or genetic, disposition towards an innate physical prowess (flucking, fighting or fleeing), and showing it off for the publics voyueristing jollies. Perhaps in reality, the porn industry does (or has) prayed on the disinfranchised and it is perhaps therefore an exploitative industry, but i would argue this is more symptomatic of the stigma associated with porn, which points to a need for us culturally to reevaluate porn and our relationship with it. This as opposed to bashing porn as a concept. Not that anyone here seems to be bashing it, but certainly many do. Any thoughts?
back to ON TOPIC land now, it has been my experience (God, I loved college :)!! ) that a huge percentage of the kinky things I saw in porn very erotic visually, but in practice ended up either being painful, unfulfilling, unintentionally humourous, or downright disgusting. Facials falling into a couple of those categories. I agree with the sentiment that pulling and and whacking onesself off just before shooting is soo less fulfilling (particularly emotionally if such a bond exists between partners) than cumming inside, either mouthwards or otherwise. Again, not gonna pretend to speak for male-kind, but i wouldn’t be surprised if a great number of men out there have spend thier grown lives using (misinterpreting) porn as a guide book to giving pleasure, and therfore leaving a lot of the women of the world dry… or in pain, or just bored…
