You know they did a similar study on the Discovery Channel (or one of those channels).
Basically, they took a picture of a guy and showed it to women where they were asked to rate him on a scale from 1 to 10.
In the first study, they offered no information about the guy. Only his picture. The guy got like a 4.
In the second study, they took they same picture only this time they told the subjects that the guy in the picture was super rich. In that study, he got a rating of 8.
As to the OP; it may sound strange but with some women, when she hears that I’m a divorced father of two kids, her interest sparks up rather than fizzles down.
I guess if women figures you’re already housebroken; half their work is already done. Which makes you more attractive.
At one point in time, 3 of my closest girlfriends were all dating married men. With one of them, she was hoping he’d leave his wife for her. I think in her mind that would prove she was better somehow.
The other two dated them because they didn’t want full time, progressing relationships. It worked for them. They had their freedom and alone time, but also had someone special in their lives.
I also dated a married man for a little while after my divorce. I got divorced because my husband cheated on me with other men. I went through this thing where I thought every man I met was secretly gay. I figured the guy I was seeing couldn’t be gay, because he was cheating with a woman!
Don’t forget “If he’s looking elsewhere, then the marriage must be practically over anyway. Why not skip the queue?”
(Not gender specific, that one - I learned the hard way that it ain’t necessarily so. Idiot.)
I wonder how accurately the poll reflects what people would actually do, as opposed to how they would self-report their expected course of action.
I think these type of single women have “daddy issues” IMO.
They see the stable man that they never had in their own life.
These are the type of women a man should not marry.
They will probably cheat on you because nothing really will satisfy them IMO.
Well as I tell women, just because I’m funny and having a conversation with you does not mean I want to sleep with you.
