To be fair, it does the same thing to me too. And on a related note, I was fine tearswise in the finale up until Vincent appeared in the final scene.

My favorite part is when “Make Your Own Kind of Music” starts playing out of nowhere.
“Lower your gun, or I’ll blow his damn head off brother!”
There was a really nice candid picture of Kate n’ Jack on set, goofing around, in Entertainment Weekly recently. It made me think how very much I miss Lost. 
I have no life.
I liked the launching of the raft, and the wonderful music. And not just during that scene.
I started watching the show late in the summer after the first season. I burned through the entire season in a few weeks to ensure I would be up to date for the season 2 opener. That’s the scene the got me hooked.
