Quite a large proportion of adult photos/videos I have seen feature guys who have startlingly ‘bent’ erections :eek: . It looks a giant piece of elbow macaroni for chrissakes! Is this just a coincedence, or do directors actually favor guys who have the ‘bent’ look?
I’ve heard the bent thing is a relatively common thing amonst the male population. It may look odd if you haven’t looked at a lot of naked men, but I doubt it’s as rare as it seems.
While many male porn stars tend to be on the “large” side, are you sure that’s not his bent leg you’re looking at?
Line one on the job description for male stars is the ability to have sex on-camera and keep the action going until the director says the magic word.
Line two is the ability to look good doing it.

I don’t see much porn, so I must ask, which way does the bend go? If it is upward, a lot of women find that sexy, including me (discussed in a previous thread, but I am too lazy to find it). If it is to one side or the other, then it is as someone else said - performance is more important than visual.
It could also be that they are trying to cast men with larger equipment. I think men who are longer tend to have a bend to one side or the other, which direction depends on if they dress right or left. Again, we have a thread on that somehwere… I suppose I shouldn’t post when I am feeling this lazy. 
If it protrudes that much maybe they’ve bumped into a bunch of stuff with it… walls, doors, trees, headboards, etc., kinda like skinning one’s knee.
First off, it sounds like you mean a curve, not a bend. Second, it’s extremely common: around 30% of all penises have a curve of some sort – check out “erections” on “the-penis-website.com” (put a “www” in front of there).

Hey! The curve helps get at those hard-to-reach areas. Think of it as a feature, not a bug. 
Thank God for all the women in my life that didn’t feel as you do. While I’m far from a “banana slinger” I was blessed with an above-average, slightly-curved model. I’ve received no complaints from either my present or past partners.
Not that I’m casting aspertions on your partner(s), but it’s been my (anecdotal) experience that the larger units tend to have more of a curve about them. Well, that and the scores of pornographic films I’ve seen. Anyway, it’s a broad generalization.
Well, I’ve noticed the phenomenon in pornos, too… and I sort of made a generalization between penes and breasts:
The larger they are, the more likely they are to appear deformed in some fashion, for several reasons:
- The size amplifies any unusual features, so unless they are perfectly proportioned they are going to appear grotesque.
- For penes, given a constant rate of curvature then the longer it is, the more it appears to bend.
- For breasts, the more skin area that is available, the greater the liklihood that neither areola will point in the same direction.

- The size alone is a deformity! :eek:
