I think he maybe needs to take a break from moderating, if his personal life is suffering that much.
Pish. Statistically, all these threats pale into insignificance next to the drop bears.
<shudder>
Please, don’t mention the name *drop bear * to me again, without sufficient warning. While visiting ‘stralia many years ago, I had an up close and personal experience with one of those dreaded beasts. I was deep in the outback, innocently munching on a sprig of eucalyptus leaves, when I heard the rustling of underbrush behind me. Someone screamed, “Crikey, look out for that drop bear, ‘e’s a big fat bastard!”. My memories of what happened next are mercifully vague, thanks to years of psychoanalysis, electroshock therapy and a botched frontal lobotomy, but suffice it to say that it wasn’t pretty. I’ll spare you the gory details, but imagine a blur of fur, slobber, an exceptionally large anal probe and…well, you get the picture.
<shudder>
Then, of course, was my unfortunate encounter with the bunyip…
Chronos. It was a female chimp.
Believe it or not, Ron Jeremy, in additional to once being a schoolteacher, is also a classically trained pianist (insert 12 inch pianist joke here).
So, who’s the female porn star equivalent of Ron Jeremy? Jenna Jameson used to be in a lot of stuff, but I’m not seeing her in as many things now- or, at least, that’s how it seems.
There was at least one who lasted into her mid-30s, though I can’t remember her name or how many films she was in. I think most men who view porn want variety. The female stars don’t last as long because no matter how hot a starlet is, the viewers will eventually want to see the next big thing. Unless the woman is really something special, she’ll really have to go the extra mile to extend her career. For example, you might see an actress who never did anal scenes suddenly start doing them; she might start appearing in gangbang flicks, etc.
There’s also the fact that an actress can make a lot of money very quickly. The women are paid much better than the men, for one thing. Also, a woman is physically capable of “acting” in multiple scenes, or even multiple movies, in one day — most men simply can’t do that. So a hot actress can, if she handles her money well, build herself a really nice nest egg in less than a year.
The men who can consistently get it up under the lights with the cameras rolling are relatively few and far between, and so they tend more toward longevity in their careers. Guys like Ron Jeremy are especially rare, in that there are a lot of actresses who specifically request to work with him. He can also keep up a steady, amusing, improvised dialogue throughout his performance, which probably helps set the girls at ease.
Nina “Bubble Butt Buttocks” Hartley had longevity in the in porn industry. She also crossed over to Hollywood in Boogie Nights.
It was on “Surreal Life”, the same year as Rob Van Winkle (Vanilla Ice) and Tammy Faye Baker. I was very impressed by how he handled Tammy. She had to be in her late 50s, overweight, and not especially attractive. Ron Jeremy was still a gentleman to her. He held doors for her, watched his language, and was in general very polite. There was also some bimbo on the show and he hardly gave her the time of day.
He was on The Farm here in the UK. He was really cool, mucking out the pigs and whatnot.
Apparently the OP has not looked hard enough on the internet. Rule 34: If it exists, there’s porn of it. Plus there’s plenty of amateur lesbian porn at a notorious image board which claims heritage with 2ch.net.
I’m afraid you’re going to have to be a little more specific, since I’ve never heard of this “2ch.net” website, either.
As has been pointed out repeatedly, there’s “Amateur Lesbian Porn” (which is still professionally done- like abby’s fine work- but which is made on a commercial basis, ie the performers get paid) and “Amateur Lesbian Porn” in which two lesbians (or bi women) have sex and aren’t getting paid (present for a boyfriend, they’re exhibitionists, etc).
I’ve found plenty of the former on the net, but not nearly as much of the latter, which was the main point of the OP…
I’m not sure this can count as a crossover. Any film that has us watch Marky Mark extract a thirteen inch faux phallus from his pants and let it plop against his thigh while sighing plaintively is not Hollywood.

It’s art. But it’s not Hollywood.
4chan, just lurk in /b/
I haven’t seen much amateur lesbian porn on 4chan. It is good if you like or don’t mind random acts of violence and animated child pr0n mixed in with your wanking material.
Maybe we (as an industry) should make it clearer that we don’t bill as “cum soaked sluts” on credit card statements? We’re very aware of the need for discretion, and so use billing companies with very generic names - we use GMBill.com. for example (or rather, billing companies all have very generic names, for this reason).
BTW, abby, I looked at your site for a bit and want to congratulate you. Your work is tasteful, clever and well-done. Some day I’ll return and spend a bit more time.
And look for the next Ms. Ostragoth.
I realise you guys don’t bill as “HOT NAKED SEX PORN”, but my fiancee’s clued up enough to twig that anything on the credit card bill with “.com” afterwards is probably porn related. Hence my preference for being able to walk into an adult shop, pay with nice, untraceable cash (or my own EFTPOS card), and leave with my selection of hardcore erotica…
Still, I’m pretty sure I can work something out to distract her… ![]()
not to beat a dead horse, but many sites - including ours - offer alternate payment methods for this reason as well (for us, you can send cash in the mail).
[QUOTE=abby]
As a producer of commercial lesbian erotica featuring amateur models, I guess I’m qualified to post here (GorillaMan, if you wanna page me, send me an email for heaves’ sake! Unfortunately, I don’t have time to read these boards as often as I’d like).
However, most of my thunder has been stolen by educated guesses above. ![]()
We have shot a few genuine lesbian couples of actual real-life relationships, and the results are always good in my opinion, but plenty of people who like the idea of genuine lesbians having sex, are less than thrilled when faced with the reality (and thus are less inclined to pay for it, and thus there’s less demand for producers to shoot it). This would in part be because the models are not your trad glamour models, but more so because (IMO, and it seems I’m not alone) watching two people make love as part of their relationship is less exciting (for the viewer!) than two first-timers (or at least, two people who have just met).
And I’d even go so far as to say, sex with anyone you just met has a different, and dare I say, more exciting? quality than someone you’re having a longstanding relationship with. Not that that longstanding relationship sex is not GOOD, it’s just different, and works less well when being filmed, IME.
For this reason, while we’d never turn away real-life couples, we generally prefer to shoot comfortably bi-sexual models who are doing it in part for the money, but also cos they just dig having sex with chicks they just met, and if you can get paid for it as well, why the heck not?
That being said, we get pretty convincing performances out of the models we shoot (cos they understand what we’re looking for in a scene). We choose to shoot models based on the amount of genuine passion they can muster, and watching two people do ANYTHING they are passionate about is always enjoyable, be it a pair of musicians, dancers, sculpters, or chicks who dig sex with other chicks. We shoot scenes to ensure each of the models orgasm (for real), and the best scenes are an hour long with each participant having 10 to 15 of them in an hour. It’s exhausting to watch (and to shoot, let me tell you), and the results are truly breathtaking.
They seem pretty damn real to me.
So I guess what I mean is, it’s not as black and white as the OP is proposing. It’s not EITHER hardcore dykes, OR lame hetro poesurs doing it for the cash - there are plenty of shades of grey in the middle. We happen to shoot to a specific niche that the OP and several other posters may like (google my name! take the tour!), but we have plenty of competition we’re scared of.
The mainstream guys are cottoning on pretty fast to The New Way, but there’s still the old mindset that every porn performer has to look the same, have no pubic hair, have tons of makeup, wear high heels to be taken as a serious contender. Guanolad recommended LLV, and that’s a great place to start (lotsa reviews, read them before ordering, if you’re picky). Another good place are adult review sites - I hope I am not overstepping the rules by linking to the excellent resource, www.thebestporn.com.

I have taken your tour and am very much impressed. The ladies I have seen in your vids actually look like they WANT to have sex with each other. IMHO, this increases the turn-on factor 1000 fold. The ladies I’ve seen also look like real people instead of the plastic models in most professional erotica. Thank you!
