Why SW-AotC reminds me of Gummo

I went to see Send in the Clones… I mean, Attack of the 50-Foot Clones… I mean… well, you know what I mean.

Actually, I liked it. As other people said in other threads, the dialog is laughable and there’s too much CGI. But reviews are for the already-existing mega-thread. Suffice it to say that it didn’t suck. I started this thread because AotC reminds me of Gummo.

You see, there’s this character called Dooku. When ever I hear or think of his name, I think of the little girl in Gummo saying to her cat, “You smell like a dookie, girl!”

Oh, well. At least I’m not picturing Senator Abba-Zabba… I mean Yabba-Dabba… I mean… well, you know who I mean… saying “I want a moustache, dammit!”

It reminds you of the Lost Marx Brother?

No, it reminds me of Gummo.

Oh. In that scene in the meadow? Those animals looked like giant fleas.

I forget – was Gummo a Dogma 95 film? Even if it wasn’t, you gave me a great idea, Johnny: I think Lucas should do the next Star Wars film adhering to the Dogma 95 rules.

I also thought his point was going to be that he thought that the fifth Star Wars movie was like the fifth Marx Brother.

And if it wasn’t, it should have been.
