I don’t understand. I started an IMHO thread with the intention of finding out what people would do if they were an Administrator and wielded power on here.

OK I see Skipmagic provided a mod note but the thread was not started as a protest against Mr. Zotti. Maybe it could be retitled, “If I ruled the SDMB I would…” and reopened?
He could re-open the original one with an apology for misunderstanding, but I’m not holding my breath.
I don’t want to second-guess the moderator, but I did notice that in the first five responses there were two posts that could be construed as complaints about the new forum dedicated to Ed Zotti’s book.
Actually, why don’t you go ahead and start a new thread with that title? The replies in the other thread made it read like a complaint thread, so with all of the other complaint threads/posts placed in the wrong fora today, I made the (apparently, incorrect) assumption your thread was another effort of the same. A new thread with your suggested title might work out better.
If you lied, and WERE actually holding your breath, you can let it out now.
