i posted a thread i did not mean to post, and it’s disappeared! why did you mods delete it? i am just curious, not trying to fight!
The board is psychic. It just knew you didn’t mean to post it, so it fed the thread to the hamsters.
I removed your post because it was complete and utter nonsense. Several of your posts lately have been nonsense. If you continue to post such things, you will find that your posting privileges have been removed.

For the Straight Dope
what do you mean by ‘utter nonsene’? my posts seem fine to me if you could clarify please…
Sure, I’ll clarify.
When posting, try using nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc. in ways that form coherent sentences. So far, you seem to be doing the virtual equivalent of running naked through the forums wearing pink undershorts while high on peyote. If you want to post gibberish and nonsense, feel free. Don’t expect anyone to reply to, or try to understand, any of it.
Also, it’s entirely possible that you are mad as a box of frogs. Now, most of us have seen that, and take such posts with a grain of salt. You however, may not actually know that you’re mad as a box of frogs, and think that you’re behaving in a perfectly normal way. It’s one of the great conundrums of mental illness. “Box of frogs?” we say. “No thank you, I’m trying to cut down.” you reply, and we shake our heads sadly and go about our workday.
Some of your threads show that you can carry on a relatively sane conversation, but others (such as this, or this) make you the board equivalent of that guy at the party that everyone laughs nervously at and then edges away from.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go feed my frogs.
On a sort of homeopathic principe, perhaps some dried frog pills are called for.
I must object to the term “mad as a box of frogs.”
Having been both mad AND in a box of frogs, I must point out that the two conditions are synonymous.
Also, I know some boxes of frogs, many of my best friends are boxes of frogs or have boxes of frogs in their families. It is disturbing to see such blatanly predjudiced attitudes against boxes of frogs still thriving in our supposedly enlightened society. Ribbit.
Besides, Never’s posts are more like a pail of toads.
…are NOT synonymous…

Oh great and powerful Gods of the SDMB!
I, your most lowly of servents, do humbly beseach you for this one small boon, that my life might be simpler and that praise for thy greatness might flow from my lips like honey. Certainly, I, the father of lice, a consort of vermin, am not worth to stand in your fearsome and mighty presence, yet I humbly implore you to hear my plea and grant my insignificant wish.
Do you think you could turn on the feature that puts a dot on the envelope icon in the thread listing when you’ve posted to a thread? It makes keeping track of where you’ve been much easier.
Thanks awfuly,
Weirddave
Is there perhaps a feature to prevent idiots from posting their OPs in someone else’s non related thread? Cuz that would be a good one to turn on too.
[sub]Sheeesh! what a moron…[/sub]
They did this under the old version, and the results were so spectacularly dreadful, that I don’t think they’ll be repeating that experiment. Apparently that feature is technically called “The Bandwidth-Eating Hamster Killer”.
Never Have I Because I,
When come back, bring sanity
And yet, your not-OP meshes so perfectly, in a slightly surreal way, with the current thread that I don’t think you could have planned it better. Consider: you posted a post in a thread where the OP is doesn’t know why another thread he posted is not there, yet he didn’t want to post the other thread in the first place! In your case, however, your thread doesn’t exist, yet your post does, and you do know exactly why your post is there, but not there, if you get my meaning. A study in contrasts.
Plus there’s this whole subtheme centering on nonsense. Perfect!
The literary tension is so thick you could cut it with a knife!
