Do you think your record goes away when you kick the bucket? Hell, no-When you die your record is transferred to the LDS Church, where it will be kept in a deep cavern until the end of time.
There is a record of everything posted by everyone. So the answer to your question is yes. Typically older infractions don’t carry as much weight as more recent activity.
Thanks Bone and laughing at Czarcasms post. I thought it would be like that however it could be a bit difficult to understand If this was forgotten after a month yet a warning I received 6 years ago was in neon lighting.
As Bone notes, the older a warning is the less weight it carries. One warning from six years ago is effectively irrelevant.
But Brother Czarcasm, it’s for your benefit. Record storage that is. The Church feels that if one is unable to obey the mods will while on earth, how can one be trusted with all the rewards of heaven? Older infractions don’t carry as much weight though, and sexual indiscretions will no longer be counted.
That sounds a challenge Nope- too old for that nonsense.
Can’t wait until 2023 comes around …
You and me both, brother. You and me both.
It’s also not just a matter of the count of warnings. We can easily look through a poster’s record and see all of the warnings they’ve gotten, with convenient links to the relevant posts. If it ever becomes appropriate to review a poster (it never does, for the vast majority) we can look through and see what they actually said and did, and weigh it accordingly.
Reminds me of a T-shirt I’ve mentioned before. It has ATF in big bold letters vertically. Alongside the letters it says
lcohol
obacco
irearms
Then underneath it says “Sounds like a pretty good party!”

Quick question. Some years ago I received a warning which it seems will never lapse until I kick the bucket. What I posted was not in the same league as the poster of the subject here. I am not complaining about the warning, but does this poster also get a lifetime record?
Remember that permanent record you were told about in elementary school? It gets added in there.
