I don’t normally watch “Wife Swap”, but several years ago there was some publicity when the beauty-queen daughter of one of the parents on this show tried to sue ABC for $100 Million dollars, claiming they misrepresented her. After reading about how horrible she was, I HAD to find the episode and watch it. Took me about a month to track it down online, but I was finally able to find a copy and watch. Talk about a train wreck. I did some quick searching now and found a YouTube video with the first few minutes of their episode which gives a good “flavor” for how spoiled this child is, so people who weren’t familiar would be up to speed.
Now, today, I read that “sparkle” princess has been busted for prostitution!!!
I always knew her story would end badly, but I didn’t think it would happen this quickly. If you read the arrest reports included in the above story, you can see she’s been working at a strip club for quite some time as well.
I really feel like this is 90% her parents fault - they spoiled her so badly she was completely ruined as a person.
Ultimately, everything we do is our own responsibility, not someone elses. She doesn’t get a free ride for blaming her parents for things she continually choses to do.
This article from the Buffalo News says that the parents operated a glass-tinting business but paid the employees off the books and paid no taxes, and the father laundered money for Canadian telemarketing scammers. So with model parents like that, is it any surprise that the daughter is screwed up?
Sounds like her parents presented her with a vision of a world free of consequences, so is it any wonder that, in her mind, anything goes if it gets her what she wants? Look at how forthcoming she was with the police when questioned. I honestly think that she believed no one would dare lock up “Sparkle Princess” for any reason, because she’s clearly too beautiful and glamourous, so why not admit what she and her John were doing?
And she faked a seizure during the interview. That must have been when she realized they were actually planning to send her to jail. I’ve known a few people who pull the ‘fake seizure’ act when they don’t get their way. They come in all genders, ages, and walks of life with one defining characteristic - they’re all absolutely insufferable.
Her parents are kooks… **their **parents were probably kooks too. What are you implying? That there’s an age where you’re unaffected by the way you were brought up? If there’s was an age range for learning to overcome obstacles of your upbringing, or ‘learning the hard way’, 20 doesn’t sound that suprizing.
