Ditto to what @RickJay said. MAGAbots are absolutely 100% dead certain that there is a list of Epstein clients which will consist exclusively of big Democratic names and zero from God’s Only Party. When those names are released, the Democratic Party will cease to exist. Yessireebob, that scandal ranks right up there with Hunter’s laptop, Hillary’s emails, and shutting down the Holy Pipeline which would have given us gas under 50 cents a gallon.
Indeed, it seems there is still some editing going on, even with a “release” of the files today:
So they gave a edited Part 1 to… social media influencers.
So, it’s total bullshit.
And they were marked “Declassified.”
They were never classified. “Classified” isn’t the same as something being held back from the public or under a gag order.
The FBI has released a memo saying that:
- They’re confident that Epstein committed suicide.
- There’s no evidence of a client list nor of blackmail.
https://www.axios.com/2025/07/07/jeffrey-epstein-suicide-client-list-trump-administration
For the first, that matches what the Biden administration said so I wasn’t particularly doubtful.
For the second, reading the actual memo, it’s a bit more specific than saying, “It didn’t happen.” What they actually say is that, among the previously collected documents and photos, there’s no client list or evidence of blackmail. It does not say that there was a fresh and dedicated investigation on such a question and that the investigation came up bust.
To be sure, the FBI has presumably captured a great amount of Epstein’s possessions and, if he was engaged in such activities it seems like there should be some things that look worth following up on.
But if, for example, I see a list of well-to-do men in an Excel spreadsheet called “contact_2015.xlsx”, that could technically be almost anything; up to the point that I go out to find people that worked for Epstein and ask them about it. If they were only asked about the presence of young girls, there wouldn’t be anything in a transcript to raise suspicion about the spreadsheet.
A simple review of the holdings might raise a few items that merit follow-up. But, minus said follow-up, it’s unlikely that you’re going to get anything but what was previously found. A review isn’t an investigation.
I also note that the memo is by no one and to no one, with no source nor signatory. Either the letter was expressly written for the press and is, in essence, an advertising piece or the maker wasn’t willing to put his signature on the thing. Neither gives much encouragement.
I place very little trust in anything coming out of any part of the US executive branch these days. And most especially anything from DOJ.
IMO the memo said whatever the writer thinks will most please the criminal tyrant, or whatever the writer was told to write by minions of the criminal tyrant.
That he committed suicide isn’t the whole story. How was his suicide allowed? Who failed to prevent it, and why?
And was it an “assisted” suicide?
Unless I see evidence on the contrary, I tend to assume incompetence over malice. The prison screwed up. End of story - for now.
Totally agree.
Very possible.
This does raise an interesting question as to what it was Ghislane Maxwell was convicted of, given that she is currently serving time for sex trafficking. It is theoretically possible one could be convicted of sex trafficking without any evidence of clients to whom the victims were trafficked, but it sure seems unlikely.
Not to harsh your buzz but the easy answer would be: Jeffrey Epstein
Not to say that there couldn’t have been others (e.g. Prince Andrew), just that there doesn’t need to have been more than one for a prosecution. Once you do have one, there’s no particular reason - minus evidence, otherwise (e.g. Andrew) - to hypothesize the existence of others.
What list?
What friends?
What Epstein?
Nothing to see here, go about your business…
Signed, Epstein’s Mother.
And I would not rule out a general culture of not trying too hard to “protect” some people.
Yeah, agreed, procuring for Epstein himself would fit the bill.
Y’all realize that this means we’ll be getting abundant cheap fiction about it like, forever, and more than one would-be future President or Committee Chairman will run on a promise to “dig up the hidden records and find out THE TRUTH!!! about Epstein”.
I understand your reference, and validate it. LOL!
As I posted elsewhere, but even better here - Dershowitz says he knows but can’t tell:
I saw that article this morning but, looking at it again, I note that the “list” - according to Dershowitz - is actually not one maintained by Epstein, but by the DOJ.
Of all people, it seems like Trump supporters are pushing for the friends to face justice, or at least be publicly shamed. From WaPo today:
And from the NY Times today:
David French: Opinion: MAGA Is Tearing Itself Apart Over Jeffrey Epstein
As I suppose everyone here knows, this makes no sense because DJT was friends with Epstein, and called him a "terrific guy.who “likes beautiful women as much as I do.”
Then last week Trump called Epstein a creep. I wonder if that was a political mistake.
MAGA people have to know that, whatever the situation is now that Donald is elderly, Trump’s history is sexually adventurous and, at best, borderline when it comes to obeying laws in this area (or any area). If Trump leaned into this, I think MAGA would rally around him. If I was in his inner circle, I’d tell him to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell. .
