Will this stove fit through the door?

I bought a new gas range and it’s set to be delivered on the 10th. My house has pretty narrow doors. The back door is just a smidge under 31" wide, measured in three places on the frame of the storm door. That’s the narrowest part. It opens into a narrow hallway (36") so the entry door can’t open to a 90" or greater angle, so they’re going to have to take the entry door off and they know that.

The specs for the range say:

Cut-out Dimensions - Minimum: W 30" x H 36" x D 25"

Nominal Product Size: W 29-7/8" x H 47-3/4" x D 25-3/4"

Is there any way in hell this is going to fit through that door even with the door removed? Here’s a picture of it in case that helps. If they can’t get it through there it’ll have to go through the big window in front or the front door. There’s too much snow there for me to deal with (I don’t use the front door in the winter) so I need to know whether to ask them to hold it for a bit. I hope I don’t have to because I can’t wait to fire up that 16,000 BTU burner.

Unless I’m missing something, 25 3/4 inches is considerably less than 31 inches. So I’m not seeing a problem.

Hi, I’ve been deliveing furniture and appliances for over twenty years, and I don’t see any problem arising with this delivery. Most ranges are a standard 30" wide, and are narrower than that from front to back. Unless there’s something you didn’t mention in your description, it should be a piece of cake. Be sure to tip generously.

25" or thereabouts is standard range depth, e.g. front to back dimension, quite close to standard kitchen counter depth. Your back door is 30" affording adequate wiggle room. If storm door closer brackets and other issues arise, standard tools will help the job come to fruition without major hassle.

Obviously I wasn’t thinking clearly. All I could focus on was the 30". Thanks for calming my nerves.
