Here’s pulling for your CAT scan to go well, Ravenous Lady. Not long ago I had to have one and a follow-up ultrasound three months later. That dye stuff I had to drink wasn’t all that icky tasting as much as it was chugging two quarts of it in short order. The urge to hurl was strong.
The stuff I drank last time wasn’t so bad either. They tried to fix it by making it lemon flavored, and that just added a nasty bite to it. I think I was on nice pain meds then too, maybe that made it seem not so bad. 12 ounces down, 12 to go.

Yo! laina_f, are you back to the “normal” time of Weekday Crowd, or was it correct to infer that you’re a “regular” Weekend Crowd person?

Well, I’m part of the workweek crowd.
Sometimes, I come in on Monday and I think, “god, I hope that thread is dead because if it’s still alive, I’m going to have to get back to it.”
And sometimes I think, “I hope that thread is still going.”
When I checked today, I specifically looked to see if Otto’s stealing thread in IMHO was still going. It was.
I always wonder if there are people who post here EXCLUSIVELY on the weekend whose paths I never cross.
I’m afraid this experiment either didn’t attract any notice from the exclusively Weekend Gang, or else they merely smiled and went on their way without posting to that effect. It will probably take more than a thread asking for participation to discover to what degree there are people who only post at particular times.
As a side note, perhaps you’ve seen it, there’s been some notable response to a thread asking Lurkers to step out and reveal themselves. I’ve been overwhelmed at how some people made their very first post in that thread!
It just wasn’t in the cards for the Weekend Crowd to acknowledge that aspect of their behavior. Maybe people aren’t even conscious of their own patterns. I will say that I spent way more than “normal weekend time” on SDMB this weekend, just to see what response there was going to be, thus killing the “scientific value” ( 
) of this thread’s OP purpose.
Maybe a more clever Doper will devise a more definitive method than this one has been.
Have the birthday kids gotten their slices? I can’t wait to dig in!
Personally, I am more of a “check the threads for a 1/2 hour each day, at least.” person than a weekend, or weekday person.

Don’t know if I’m getting a cake. But if I do, I’ll think of you when I eat it! I’d offer to send you a slice but it might get stale before you get it!
Did get breakfast in bed (omelette, honeydew melon, and doughnuts). Got to stay in bed till 8 am (usually first appointment is at 7 am.)

Zeldar, I’m likely to be on the SDMD most days, but I work a 12-hour day on Sunday, and work is frequently slow. I’ve never noticed a different crowd on weekends, just less activity.
