Will Thomas Peterffy leave the country again? And where will he go?

Thomas Peterffy is a Hungarian immigrant who made his fortune in the development of electronic trading of securities, and spent millions of dollars of his own money to run an anti-socialist commercialon TV during the closing weeks of the 2012 election. The ad contains his emotional story of flight from socialism, and its pernicious effects on the human spirit.

Presumably, he equated the threat of socialism with Obama and the Democratic candidates, and was trying to influence the election. With the re-election of Obama and more Democrats in both the House and Senate, will he again flee socialism by moving to another, less socialist country where people aren’t so willing to give up their freedom and work ethic? And why did he leave Hungary to move to another socialist country in the first place?

Were I he, I’d move back to Hungary, hook up with a rightist party, and try to turn them pro-business. The party would love his money, and he could probably score a seat in the Országház.

I don’t care if or where he goes as long as he just shuts up!

[extended rant deleted]

At least he stood in front of the camera, that I can respect. The shawdowy money men are the ones who suck.

I hope his last ad buy in front of Youtube videos ended on Nov. 6. I’m sick of seeing his face and hearing his voice.

I think he’s going to go back to annoying Finneas and Ferb.

If the example set by Joe the Plumber is any indication, he’ll be running for the House of Representatives in 4 years (and lose by nearly 3:1).
