I doubt he will support Putin directly (nor would our military). But he would do everything in his power to not support Ukraine and the rest of Europe.
And yes, it will be a completely fucked up mess.

Fully agree, although historically Trump has been very Teflon-esque. I doubt if a judge has the balls to actually sentence him to time. One can hope…
ETA: I saw an ad for cozies that read, “I voted for the felon”. There is literally nothing he could do to lose support.
Thats cool. I wonder if i could sell those. And on the other side, print, cause I’m a Magat. All sales are final
That’s funny. But honestly, if you didn’t mind compromising your scruples, you could probably have a decent side hustle off of Trump right now. For example.
Other than endorse Biden, I can think of anything. They’ll even forgive him for getting the COVID vaccine done quickly.
I got $20 on “Gag Order! So UNFAIR! Never been done before. Nobody’s seen this. Conflicted Judge…”
Because, you know. He’s not allowed to speak, so why show up for a debate?
In 2022, Fox News asked Trump what he’d do differently from Biden on Ukraine.
“Well what I would do, is I would, we would, we have tremendous military capability and what we can do without planes, to be honest with you, without 44-year-old jets, what we can do is enormous, and we should be doing it and we should be helping them to survive and they’re doing an amazing job.”
I’m sure he would do fine in a debate.
It is irrelevant what he says in a debate. Because nobody watches the actual debate. (except people who care about politics, and they don’t count because they aren’t swing voters.)
The only relevant question is how the media reports the debate after it’s over. That’s what most people see.
So Trump can say all the meaningless nonsense like you just quoted “what I would do, we can do, 44 year old jets, enormous, do it, amazing”. But among those words, he might also happen to create one entire sentence that is grammatically normal, and that’s the one that Foxnews will quote, under the headline “Trump destroys Biden’s policy on Ukraine!–says he will help them survive, without spending money on jets”.
So there you have it: Trump won the debate, he destroyed Biden, and you know it’s true because Fox said so. Fox will display their headline while showing a 5-second clip of Biden coughing and slurring one word, and -voila- Trump has won the debate over the frail and confused Biden .
Nothing matters! Everything helps Trump!
The poll I saw said 10% of Reds are LESS likely to vote Trump, and 35% MORE likely. The Headline optimistically repeated the first number, while it is the second number that seems more significant.
Almost everyone knows how they’ll vote IF they vote at all. My fear is that some Trumpists were becoming apathetic enough to stay home on Election Day, but the jury verdict will re-invigorate their spite.
This isn’t true. Over 73 million people watched the 2022 presidential debates - the third highest viewership in history (Hillary/Trump debate was highest at over 84 million). Not everyone sits on their phone or social media so it gives those people a chance to see candidates actually speak off the cuff - that helps inform their decision.
Of course, biased media reports bias, but Fox watchers aren’t looking for information, only confirmation.
The quote I posted is germane to whether Trump would falter in a debate - he would. He’s never been good at it and as he gets older he gets worse. He bowed out of the last debate claiming it was rigged and that he had Covid. He knows he would suck at it.
Democrats and Independents will be less likely to vote for Trump now. Also about 10% of Republicans. But 30% of Republicans say they are now more likely to vote for Trump, and some believe that these convictions actually unify a fractious party as defending Trump seems to be a major goal/ fundraiser/ defence mechanism. Details here: (limited gift link from The Economist - What Republicans Make of Trump’s Conviction)
I’m with you on this. Trump isn’t invincible. There are so many examples of him losing it’s a wonder anyone really thinks he’s untouchable.
Ew who wants to touch him?
The problem is he doesn’t have to win in order to win. He just needs to be ahead in a couple of states by probably not that much.
But 30% of Republicans say they are now more likely to vote for Trump,
38% of Republicans identify as Maga so I’m confident the overlap between that 30% and the 38% is so close to complete that it wont make the slightest difference to the outcome (I’m sure the remaining 8% is percentage that recognizes there is not way can get more than 100% likely to vote for Trump, which is a surprisingly high knowledge of basic maths for MAGAts)
So yeah that 10% number is very bad for Trump. I am sure some of them are anti-Trump Republicans who wouldn’t vote for trump regardless but they are a pretty rare bunch
I’m mocking the knee jerk reaction that so many have that, no matter the facts, every event is reported as if it’s helpful to Trump.
Fool! That sort of mockery can only benefit Trump!

Yep, this is part of the delusion of the cult. Dear Leader can do no wrong. I also think this is meant to scare and deter the libs - “everything you guys try to hurt him only makes him and his magnificence stronger - so stop with the lawsuits, or you’ll see!!..”
every event is reported as if it’s helpful to Trump
I bet if Trump and all his minions hammer their balls flat with a cinder block, it would be really helpful for him. Now I know you’re skeptical, but I think we should all find out.
You are correct, sir!
