Rastahomie… 29 is “too old”? For anything?? The mind boggles.
What I find saddest about this entire topic is the connection virtually everyone is making between success and money. Success is being able to live with yourself, not your fancy cars, houses, investment accounts, etc.
What will you be proudest of on your deathbed: your life or your bank balance?
For God’s sake go back to school and study Health services or psychology and get your Ph.D.
My wife did that and now I am so proud of her. It changed and matured her, the whole process. It will do the same to you. Of course it was a bit of a struggle while she was in school, but she’s really made good with her degree. You can do it too, don’t give up so easy.
One thing that is distressing in real life is to discover that what it takes to be a “boss” or monetarily successful is not brains. Just drive for control and goodies.
But a quick remebrance of your high school student council members should be enough to point that out…
