When the User Access Control logon fires when you open an app you can tell it to ‘Remember You’. OK. I have a user that has the wrong logon information entered for that. I need to change it. But since it is ‘Remembering’ the logon information, that logon screen does not pop up anymore.
(WAG) Under Control Panel, User Accounts, and the specific account, try the link called “Manage your credentials”. That’s where I usually find those sticky identities. However, I don’t think I’ve ever seen or used the “Remember” option in UAC prompts.
