WIn11 connecting to BT always at 100% volume

Hi there,

on my business comp I still need to run win.

For a long time already there is always the same “nuisance” that is grating:

I listen to some smooth jazz on YT, etc… at low volume (say 20%) with the internal speakers - and as soon as I BT-stream the jazz to my stereo system (BT-receiver) volume jumps up to 100% (talk about scare-jumps) …

Is it a known issue ? … any workarounds?

You can individually set the volume for each output device, so when you have a BT device connected, click on the loudspeaker icon on the right side of the taskbar and set the volume to your liking. Windows will remember the setting.
