Windows 7 SP1

I just downloaded SP1 for Windows 7 (Spanish Edition). I cannot find the copy of it to put on a CD or DVD. Where can I download a copy of SP1 to put on CD or DVD?

Download ’ 7601.17514.101119-1850_Update_Sp_Wave1-GRMSP1.1_DVD.iso ’ from the Microsoft Download Center.

Is that the Spanish Language version?

no, you can also find the iso on many torrent sites it will be a quick download just make sure you aren’t downloding any cracks or stuff like that

You can get the ISO and network redistributables from this Microsoft page.

Quartz linked to the page where the ISO file I named can be downloaded (after validation). If you’ll trouble yourself to scroll down a little, you’ll find a drop-down menu to change the language.

You’ll need to burn that image to a DVD disc - right click on it once you’ve got it downloaded, and you should have the option to do so.

I don’t know what the ISO is for, the service packs are windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe
and windows6.1-KB976932-X86.exe depending on whether your Windows are 32 or 64 bit.

An ISO is a CD or DVD image. It most likely contains the EXE file.

Has Microsoft posted a version that slipstreams SP1 into the full install disc?

It’s not officially supported. But here are instructions on how to do it.

Disclaimer: I’ve not tried it - I’d just download the ISO from Microsoft.

I have done it on both x86 and x64 versions and it works.

Just be careful to download the latest vesrion of R7 lite because older versions do not support service pack slipstream.

Slipstreaming is very useful because a new Windows installation downloads something like 100 updates and requires at least 3 startups.

Supposedly a Win7+SP1 version is coming out soon, but you have to either have a subscription based service or buy a new copy to get it. Just like every other Windows service pack, really.
