XP can be pretty damn friendly too, ya know. Give it a try next time you want to upgrade. You might be pleasently suprised.

Clearly the fact that I prefer the Mac OS (yes, even after actually using Windows in its many versions, including XP) is not enough reason for me to own one. Must assimilate! Must assimilate!

Well, after all of the bloodletting in the pit the last few days, I must say it’s somewhat refreshing to see another PC vs. Mac debate. It feels… right, somehow.
As for me? I’ve got a Wintel machine and I like it. Some people have Macs and like them. Some people like green Jello, some people like red Jello. So it is with all things. And who the fuck cares, really?

Windows-negative passion? Very simple: the pervasiveness of windows threatens the existence and health of Mac as a platform. The more it is bashed, the more people just cave to it, the more threatened Mac is. And I love Mac and I don’t ever want to use anything else. So I want it to continue to exist and to grow and to have good software written for it.
If that were not the case, I wouldn’t care at all about Windows or who uses it or anything else about it. Which is why I don’t get Window users hate for Mac. It is meaningless in your world. So why?
