A DJ once said that the Pink Floyd song “Wish You Were Here” reminded him of an obscure Eagles song…of which I forget the title! Does anyone know what Eagles song this might be?

I believe it’s “Doolin’ Dalton” from the Desperado album.

Well, Desperado was basically a concept album about gunfighters and the song was a lament about Dalton’s impending death, IIRC.

But the only real connection with Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” is that the guitar intros to both songs are remarkably similar.
