I’d just would like to say have a “HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!” to all you Dopers out there.
Wherever you may be, whether you’re with family and friends, or find yourself all by your lonesome, have a great day and be comforted in knowing that I love you all.
Peace.
My first thought: I can not read this without Ralphie’s finger up his nose.
Secondly: Thank you so much, Bob. Happy Thanksgiving to you, too. I appreciate my friends and how much help they’ve been to me over the past year and a half.
Yay, Thanksgiving!! A time for all the family to get together 600 miles away and for me to sit in a barracks - alone. Woohoo! Can’t wait for Christmas! Some days you just dont want to get up and go to work, but on Christmas it’s so much easier. Well… at least there’s less traffic anyway.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS everyone!!
Since I just moved up here on Monday, I didn’t really feel like shopping and cooking. My friend and I just got back from White Rock, B.C. where we went for a late breakfast. Everything on this side of the border is closed.
What’s for dinner? Hm. There are a couple of cube steaks in the fridge.
http://www.livejournal.com/users/lynnbodoni/1230.html works well with cube steak. Obviously, you don’t have to use a meat tenderizer on cube steak.
We had our Thanksgiving dinner yesterday, as my husband works today. He DID manage to drag himself over to his sister’s house for her Cajun Thanksgiving lunch. I cannot cook dirty rice, nor do I wish to learn. I believe that one should give liver to the cat.
Happy Thanksgiving all, now pass the turkey!
