I just wanted to wish everyone here a great Thanksgiving holiday. I hope it is happy and safe. 
Thank you for the message. I’m traveling to my former college in Claremont tomorrow to spend the holiday with old friends, and I hope everyone else also has the chance to spend the day with someone they care about.

Here I am, very early Thanksgiving morning, having gotten up at 6:30 to start roasting the turkey. I have a lot of my cooking at least started, so I won’t be overwhelmed today, and won’t be a total bitch by the time dinner is on the table (that used to be part of the tradition for my mom
:rolleyes: ). It’s just me, hubby, our three kids, and my in-laws, so it’s not that huge. Seven people. I suspect I’ll have a good day, and hope all of you do the same!
LordVor :eek: I mean, just :eek: ! any kind of fingernail trauma, just reading about it, just about puts my stomach in knots! I feel terrible for you!

We went to Mrs. D’s parent’s house today for dinner. I did nothing except eat, nap, watch tv, and just enjoy having family around.
It was great!
