Well, “celebrities” can get away with more than normal people can, I suppose. “North” is far from the worst celebrity kid name I’ve heard of (e.g. the Zappa kids…).
Re “Decimus”… there’s the old joke about the family whose three kids are “Primus”, “Finalis” and “Oops”
Local kid in high school was known as Chuck C. Clifford. Found out at graduation his legal name was Clifford Clifford Clifford III. Haven’t seen him in 50 years or so.
Ashley and Leslie too. I knew two guy Leslie’s at my former workplace!
Also it didn’t hit me that Jose Maria Olazabal, the golfer…I thought his secondary surname was Maria.
And not sure if mentioned, Governor J. Hogg of Texas named his daughters, Ima Hogg and Yura Hogg
Seriously though, when people give their kids these… Umm… “Creative” names, do they seriously not consider how these will look on a resume someday? I’ve never been in a hiring position, but I imagine if I got a resume that said “Princess Consuela Bananahamock” it would probably wind up in the shredder.
