Yeah, trying to enroll in middle school is odd and I wouldn’t rule out mental instability. Could be she’s been doing this for so long that she thrives on the attention, like a social version of Munchhausen Syndrome.
Believe it or not, I went to school with this girl, and yes, she is a female. Who most decidedly does look like a 13 year old boy.
I didn’t have much to do with her, as she was in my brother’s class. Her family only lived about 5 blocks away from me… nice folks. Nothing out of the ordinary. But she was most decidedly different. I always thought that she had some definite anger issues.
I knew when I opened this thread exactly who I would be reading about. She’s done this so many times…

I sure did. I even broke out the old yearbook last night, and there she was - right beside her twin sister.
I showed my yearbook to my husband and asked him if they looked like boys to him, and he said yes. I told him that one of the girls (I guess she’s a woman now, huh?) was up to her old tricks posing as a young teenage boy.
She’s definitely got issues, and no mistake.
She could definitely pass for male, but how in the HELL did she ever pass as a thirteen year old?
I don’t know what she looks like now, but I’ve looked at the mug shot from when she was 25 (thanks, Jeff), and she doesn’t look too much older than she did when she was 15.
Combine her looks and stature with her demeanor… it’s plausible - if only just.
No matter how you slice it, though, it truly is fucked up.
