What do you mean by ‘get’ horny?
I can ‘get’ hungry, I can ‘get’ tired, I can ‘get’ mad, sad or lonely. I can ‘get’ a job, I can ‘get’ a sandwich, I can ‘get’ to where ever it is I am going.
I do not ‘get’ horny.
I am horny.
Being horny is like breathing, if I’m not either then I am probably dead.

What constitutes a high sex drive? I skimmed the ten-years-ago parts of the thread, has there been some kind of consensus? I’m thinking of the split-screen psychiatrist bit in Annie Hall.
It’s like with alcholoism - the person that wants sex more than you is a nympho, the person that wants it less is frigid.

I get horny when I am manic (which is way too often for my comfort) I masturbate to try and avoid ending up in unsafe situations. Sometimes works anyway
Maybe you could check out the distribution in this Kinsey sex frequency study. It sorts by age, gender, and relationship status. I don’t know that it necessarily indicates pure horniness, as nobody can have sex every single time they’re feeling horny ('cept Hugh Hefner, maybe).
Tired 45 year old mom here.
My system just gets turned off after a while. If I haven’'t had good sex in two weeks or so, the whole idea of sex moves to the back burner, and, eventually, switches off.
Based on how often she initiates sex with me, my wife* clocks in at 3x/week. Add to that the 1x/week or sometimes 1x every 2 weeks that she’ll text me a smiley face following her mid-morning, post-workout shower, which is our personal code for “I just masturbated, now it’s your turn”. That may or may not be an accurate indication of how frequently she gets horny, but there you go. She’s 45.

Anyway, I might as well contribute. 41 (42 in a few weeks,) no partner, and way too full of urges, at least once a day. I don’t even have to touch myself to get off sometimes, all I need is to fantasize. I would have thought my libido would decrease after my hysterectomy, and later when I started on antidepressants. Nope.

I’m a 29 year old married female. There’s like a week out of every month where I’m horny every day, and even then it’s touch-and-go. Outside of those times, I don’t really think about sex or feel a compelling need for it. In fact, I generally see excessive masturbation as a sign that I’m depressed. I can, however, be persuaded.
I am a girl 19 years old. I feel as tho I am always horny. If I’m with a guy I’m 9/10 times horny. When dating I want it as often or sometimes more often than the guy.
