The only woman that said: “Sure, we girls play with each others’s boobs all the time” was Carmen Electra, and she said it in a Maxim interview. Make of that what you will.
That may vary by locale…in my state, those people in day spas doing feel good massage are either licensed massage therapists or they are illegally practicing, unless soft tissue manipulation is within the scope of a different license, like nursing or physical therapy. There’s no legal unlicensed massage option.
Those who are massage therapists with a background in other modalities may advertise themselves as “bodyworkers” or “structural therapists” or “Rolfers” other niche terms from specific certifications, but they still have to have a license in Massage Therapy.
I used to be the administrator for a massage school. I took their classes and was certified, but never paid for my license, because I decided to go to nursing school instead. Since massage is within my scope of practice, I don’t see a need to pay for two licenses. But until I got that nursing license, I could not work legally doing massage.
But “masseuse” and “masseur” are just passe, and very vaguely offensive.
A few years back there was a movie I didn’t see, and have no desire to ever see, called I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, in which Adam Sandler and Kevin James play straight guys pretending to be a gay couple. The trailer had a scene where a beautiful woman is casually changing her shirt in front of Sandler, believing he is gay, then for no apparent reason announces that her breasts are real and invites Sandler to touch them.
This sticks in my mind partially because I remember thinking “No woman in human history has ever done such a thing”, and partially because I read something online about how the original script for this movie had been changed a lot before it made it to the screen. The first version of the script was by Academy Award winning screenwriter Alexander Payne, and was apparently more of a black comedy. No cite, but I remember reading that the specific scene from the trailer had originally featured a woman confessing to one of the faux gay men that she’d had a boob job and was unhappy with the results, him telling her that they looked fine, and her insisting that he touch them to find out how unnatural they feel. That seems within the realm of possibility to me. It’s not something I think most women would do after a bad boob job, but I can believe that some would.
