You built up a pretty nice reservoir of goodwill and sympathy with your thread asking for advice on love and relationships. People kind of liked you. They felt for you. They wanted you to be happy with the girl of your dreams.
Have you ever heard the term “squander”? Did you know you could squander a reserve of sympathy and good feeling with one post? You can. And you probably just did.
I still feel for you, man. Really. I feel great sympathy for you right now, because you’re getting your head handed to you over something that you probably looked at the next morning and said to yourself “What the hell was I thinking?” I know lots of guys like you, Nicklz. They don’t mean to say (or type) things that get them in trouble, but it all just comes out wrong. So I have sympathy.
I personally don’t believe you really mean what you typed. I applaud evilbeth for giving you a second chance, because I don’t think you come across as being one of the unrepentant misogynistic assholes we occasionally get through here. You just kind of type before you think, and, well, we’ve all had that problem at one time or another.
So I just wanted to put in a good word, and say that though I disagree with your OP (but I’m gay…what the hell do I know?), I don’t think you merit incineration in this here Pit. Though you may get it anyway. Just buck up and take it, admit that you screwed up with the OP, and go on. You’ll get more respect for that than almost anything else you can do on here.

evilbeth is right, Nicklz. This girl may be something of a whack job, and because you were her friend (and in love) you couldn’t see it. Or maybe she isn’t as fucked as I’m thinking, but is just confused. At any rate, she is being rude and inconsiderate to you. Christ, we’ve all been ambivalent, hurt, or confused, but there are ways to handle this without giving the silent treatment to a friend. So she’s being a real disappointment, especially to all of us who were rooting so damned hard for you guys to have a fairy tale ending.
Now, who’s writing this? A WOMAN. the wise evilbeth is also a woman. So are others. Clearly you’re overgeneralizing, and not even in a very original way.
Go rent a Sam Kinison tape, have one last night of drinking, and then actively work on getting over it. Search for a way to rebuild your life without Little Miss Overreactor in it. Eventually she will realize that she’s being a complete ass, or she won’t and *you won’t care * because you’re having too much fun living your life. And at the risk of sounding like your mom, you gotta stop relying on alcohol so damned much. It sounds like both you and she use it a lot for courage, for forgetting, and for escaping your problems. It looks to me like it’s not really working all that well; notwithstanding its lack of effectiveness, there are plenty of other reasons why it’s smarter to moderate your drinking.
And even worse than that is that it just has one of those generic space-filler “under construction” things. Someone thought Assdoctor.com was such a hot commodity that they just had to grab it NOW before someone else did, even though they don’t have any actual use for the place yet.
