Women: Would you find this offensive?

It’s a good rule in life to criticize the person’s behavior, not the whole person. There’s a world of difference between “You’ll really acting like a shrew” and “Boy, you are a shrew.”

What, no more “Taming of the Shrew”?

I might find it offensive if it was directed to me, just on grounds of knowing that he had intent to offend. But not on “general femininity grounds”, no.

Shrews are insectivores, not rodents.
