Woo Hoo! I just mailed in my taxes!

Yes, with one whole day to spare, I (we) finally got our act together and, with the help of an extension, finished our taxes. We humbly thank our CPA who no doubt appreciates our thoroughness in saving receipts and creating spreadsheets almost as much as s/he hates the fact that we put it all off until the very last minute every single year. <sigh>

Gettin’ a refund, too. Maybe we’ll see it before 2003 comes along. Neah…

Mine are done, and will be mailed tomorrow when my paycheck hits my bank (no refund for Ringo :frowning: ).

Mine are done, but I can’t find my stapler so I have to wait to take them to work to attach the W-2 to the form, so I’ll be mailing mine tomorrow. This is the first year I’ve gotten a refund in a looooong time, thanks in no small part to being unemployed a couple of months last year.

Ugh! Burnin’ the midnight oil… :frowning: Some of us need the adrenaline rush!

ummm arent taxes due in april ?

Although since I’ve never had to pay them I’m just guessing

Four month extension, also filed on April 15th, the last day possible.

Oh dear. We need to file too. We sent in our money on April 15th, but we were having trouble with electronic filing so we filed for an extenstion and then just never got around to it.

Freakin’ Turbotax.

Thanks for the reminder.

Yup, just mailed my check today. I didn’t have the cash in April, and today I realized that I owed less than $50. Whoops.

I sent in my taxes last week. Very nice refund coming, as well. Unfortunately my company wants half of it back. Still in the mid four figures, so I guess I can’t complain too much. And I am going to take my sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet time on sending the company their share.

One federal, one state and four local returns. Who the heck dreamt up these tax districts, anyway?

Yep, me too. Sent 'em in Tuesday afternoon. Getting a sizable refund, too, as opposed to last year, when we owed over $12000.
