Money is good, if only to support my Diablo habit. I’ve been killing stuff with a work buddy on West, perhaps we could all team up. He’s not a Doper but I’m working on it. I’ll be home in a few hours and pounding away, but for now I have to neglect those TPS reports.
Wow and I thought I was bad!
I had to work until 3, had to run around for two hours - car wash, groceries, etc. , just started laundry and sat down to read the boards, make some new cds, and get my damn pally through nightmare. I prefer Hell, thats where things get more interesting.
I thought it was pitiful that I had to work then had nothing else to do, but play diablo, but now I know I’m normal!!

P.S. Worked the A.M., Boss bought lunch, went to Post Office to mail cards and buy stamps, took dog to the park (until it started raining), went to store to buy powdered sugar, finally sitting down for a break. I can’t wait to go back to work and get some rest.
I’m working Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Working those days doesn’t suck. Commuting on those days sucks all kinds of ass.
It took me 3 solid hours to get to work today. I traveled a total of 60 miles. I no longer have any Christmas cheer. Not that I had any before…
I had to work 8 hours at Victoria’s Secret. UGH. It was crazy, because we’re also setting up for the twice-annual sale. The day before Christmas. When all the guys do their shopping. What idiot made that decision?!
Worked Christmas Eve. Working day after Christmas. Normally, that’s not a problem except that the site I work at? They closed the building for the day after Christmas. So I get to go to one of our other sites and mess around doing busywork and not getting anything done.
We’re closed one day a year, Christmas. I didn’t mind working today except for one mean customer who was Alec Guiness’s twin brother, I swear. Looked just like him. Grumpy as hell, too.
I like working around Christmas because I can wear a silly elf hat with bells on it and jingly earrings and bells on my shoes.
Not working the whole month of December sucks worse…
Could be worse. You could be working in retail or Creative Labs tech support the day AFTER Christmas, when everyone wants to return/exchange/wonder what all the pretty lights do.

I work in retail. I worked on Christmas Eve, serving every moron in the bi-state area who waited until the last possible second to buy their gifts. Wankers.
I’ll also be working the day after Christmas, when every moron in the bi-state area comes to the store to return said gift.
Without a receipt.
With the tag removed.
With a big eggnog stain on it.
And they’ll want the refund in cash, no matter how they originally paid for it.

KCSuze, I hear ya. I get to spend tomorrow morning setting up for a sale, and then the rest of the day informing customers that the big crack in the spine of the book means that is not returnable. NO, really sir. Sir, I don’t care what you think, get the hell outta the store…
