A new quarter, and I start out with a dismal third. Root and Duck are still dueling for 1st.

I’m losing it.
I’m finding it.
I’m catching it on the river.
88% me preflop. 80% me flop. 80% me turn.
Effer calls for over half of his chips on the turn with bottom pair and an open-ended straight draw (14 outs?)? Would any of you have made this play?
In retrospect, I should have bet more preflop and postflop. “Standard Raise” just doesn’t have the desired effect online.
On the flop he was probably thinking you missed with AK, AQ, AJ and was hoping you’d stop betting…I guess. The fact that he called preflop was bad. An over-pot sized bet on the turn…atrocious.
As it were, though, I don’t see any way I’m ahead when he pushes on the river (not that I’m criticizing for calling anyway, I probably would have too).

I haven’t played worth shit since before Thanksgiving.
I’m starting to detect a subtle pattern here…
Totally forgot!
Bumping this to awake some of our lately absent players.
SHOW UP, DAMMIT!
Looks like some idiot totally hosed up the buy in amount
Hope this doesn’t keep anybody from being able to play, I swear I thought it was set on .01 + .01.

The bastards took away our penny game - the minimum buy-in is now .10 + .01.
I wonder why the hell they did that. Their cut of the action is exactly what it used to be, a penny per person.
Bandwidth ain’t free (and servers, electricty, etc.). They probably even lose money on the ultra-low stakes players. Maybe this is an effort to have fewer of them.
It’s working on me - I won’t spend $0.79 on a “micro”, and I wonder how much longer our game can survive with dime games.
Am I the short bankroll with $11 and change?
Am I too pessimistic?
WTF. I’ll play the freerolls when I can, and hope that I can score big again some time.
Well, at 11 cents per week, you’re covered for almost two years. Plus, sometimes you’ll cash in our game, or you might hit another freeroll, or we could transfer some at a private table.
Within our group, the money may change hands (and no one seems to object to it changing back), but the house only takes 5 cents a week. Just between the two of us, we could fund the game for more than twenty years.
I wouldn’t sound the death knell for our Thursday nights just yet.
I’ve got way less than $11.
I guess I better hit some freerolls.
