Probably not much more on the site now than you already know, but it’s coming up to midnight here in Australia, so as it’s gradually updated, it might be a help through the day in America if you’re having trouble getting onto the US news sites.
My thoughts are with everyone involved in this tragedy.

I have my cam pointed at the tv. I can’t get any of the news sites to load, so I know some of you might be in the same boat.
We can see it burning from my office. Horrible. Some people here said they watched the second crash and it looked like a massive explosion AFTER the hit–e.g. it seemed like the aircraft was filled with explosives. I hope that’s not true but, Oh my god this is horrible.

I am in midtown Manhattan - and we can’t get anything (we don’t have a TV in the office)and all of the websites are jammed
I can’t get ahold of my friends who work downtown…but I don’t know anyone who works in the WTC.

Elvis: That aircraft was (if it was AA flt. 11) was going to L.A. It would have been carrying a lot of fuel.
Guy on abc was saying the 2d plane looked like an airbus.
Guy 2 offices down from me has an ex-roomate in Tower 1, and a girlfriend in tower 2. Fortunately on lower floors. Says evacuation of the towers could be an all day affair.

Does today´s date have any significance to any terrorist group you know of? The Oklahome City bombing was made on the anniversary of the Waco raid, for instance. Some people are big on symbolism.
I was on my rooftop in Brooklyn at 9:15. The smoke was thick, and visible holes in the towers. Heavy smoke drifting south as far as the eye could see.
Now (9:38), on television, it looks like the smoke is abating.
This just in: Possible explosion at The Pentagon.

Oh, my God. The tops of both towers are completely covered with smoke. It looks like two smokestacks. I just heard that bodies are falling off the top floors…
