World wide Temperature Map

I like how weather.com has really nifty surface temperature maps that includes fairly detailed elevation changes. For example look at the grand canyon temperature map and youll see a red snake in a field of ble. This is a really nice feature, but what drives me up the wall, is that the color gradient stops exactly at the US border. I want to see worldwide temperature distribution. Is there such a site that publishes this information?

This map isn’t as detailed as the ones in steviep24’s link, but it shows temperature anomalies in addition to actual temperatures (you can find other maps here).
