Worst...Episode...Ever (KotH 12/19)

< ;j > Oy! For this they cancel Futurama the schmucks. </ ;j >

Ok so I used to like this show a century ago and then it just degraded into typical drag-it-out sitcom nonsense. But really, there was literally no “there” there after 30 minutes. Anyone else watch it?

Not the best episode ever, but I liked Dale’s attempt to get the old woman to die in his house so he could turn it into a haunted bed-and-breakfast, buy a few boxes of waffles, and start watching the money roll in. Hey, the ghost would have to make quality appearances, but only two a day…

They still make that show? The mind boggles.

Personally, I can’t bear the 22 minutes of pure monotony to hear Hank’s one funny line per episode.

Even if Reagan did dye his hair, it was only to show his strength to The Communists.

I haven’t seen a first run episode of KotH for quite some time.

Did Peg actually die in a skydiving accident?

A line from Arrested Development came to mind during tonight’s KotH…“the word George Michael was searching for was creepy”.

No, she just broke a lot of bones and was in a body cast.

I guess I am just a KotH fanboy, but I thought tonight’s episode was funny. Much funnier than the Simpsons was as well.

Peggy Hill’s line about leaving the bowl of milk out for the stray cat was pretty funny. And Dale and Bill are always hilarious.

I actually think King of the Hill has gotten funnier as it gets older.

That’s too bad. Would have been the best episode ever if she had.

I like the show okay (I watch it in reruns… haven’t seen it first run since its first or second season) but I cannot stand most of its characters. The only one I find sympathetic is Kahn’s daughter – Kahnie? Connie? – and the only one besides her that I actually like Kahn himself.

Everyone else annoys me, from only slightly (Bobby and Hank) to homicidally (Peggy).
