The irony here is hilarious. Dear, if you didn’t like The Mummy, YOU didn’t understand it. IT WAS A COMEDY!!! A PARODY!! A SPOOF!!! Get it? It was SUPPOSED to be cheesy and overdone! I thouroughly loved it. Laughed my ass off, along with everyone else in the theater. Suze? Back me up here!

Realism? WHY? Think of the Saturday afternoon serial: the hero always wins, he always gets the girl, and looks damn good doing it.
Camp is supposed to be Fun. You go in, laugh, and enjoy yourself without deliberately deep-thinking it to death. I was expecting more of a remake, but when it was obvious it was meant to be fun, I shut up and enjoyed it. Had a blast.
