Oct 30/31 are out for us, as well as Nov 6/7. Other than that, we are free any Saturday or Sunday.

I’m still trying to find a free Saturday or Sunday! Actually, it appears that I have the 12th and 19th both free. Do either of those dates sound good?
Either sunday evening works for me; I work from noon until 5 most Sundays but after 5 I’m free. Doesn’t matter where we meet, I’ve been able to drink legally for, oh, quite some time now…
FYI, I’ll be coming from Oakland County; I’m more than happy to leave it for any excuse!
I would still be up for one. I’d probably prefer the 19th (since the week of the 13th is finals week here at MSU), but I could make either one.
My finals week (Wayne) is that week as well, but luckily I’ve been able to stay on the ball w/ studying so I won’t be so stressed out like I typically am. Does the early evening of the 19th work anyone else?

That sounds good to me, except Omi is closed on Sunday. There are other places we could go - Sansu in the Hannah Plaza on Hagadorn Rd. is another favorite of mine.

Tsarina, is there anywhere that has a somewhat broader menu in case there are Dopers who may not care for pan-Asian fare? I haven’t been in Lansing in years, so I can only assume that there’s still something for everyone in case we need a back up place. (Though I’m sure the hair is much less tall on the servers than it was in the 80’s.) This is, of course, if anyone else shows up in this thread but us… 
I’m not too happy with either of those dates. Actually, I have nothing planned but my wife (who was at the last Mich dopefest and really had a good time) has parties both those days.
So if you decide to do it on one of those, I’ll probably be there stag.

Har har, no! Though I don’t eat anything that has or has had weight-bearing legs. (Phew, almost lost shrimp there!)

Good idea. If you all invite Ohio, then Lansing really IS Mid-Michigan. 
Of course any Ohioans wanting to make the trek would be more than welcome. Also, it would shame the people in Ann Arbor who proclaim Lansing too far to drive…
Yeah, Midland, eh? Middle of something for sure, but Michigan ain’t it. Cadillac’s pretty mid-Michigan, though, but it’s not as ‘hopping’ as the Lansing area.
