I find long-term relationships to be fulfilling, but I like variety too. Since I’m now married and looking at an indefinitely long period (between 5 years and forever) of having sex with only my wife, I’ll tell you that the 10 different women sound a lot more appealing than more of the same thing I’ve got right now. It’s been about 5 years since I had sex with another woman and while I’m not unhappy with my wife, I am a guy and I do frequently want to have sex with someone else.

If it came to a choice between having sex with 10 women and staying with my wife, well, I make that kind of choice every day when I pass up whatever opportunities I have for pursuing sex with the women I meet in daily life. I’ve been a good boy for years and haven’t been tempted enough to risk even the slightest chance of losing my wife over another woman. I doubt that’ll change for a long time. But if we’re talking about being able to nail 10 babes and keeping my wife, guaranteed, I don’t know that I’d be able to pass up that kind of deal.

If I were single, I’d probably still pick the 10 one-offs. Besides, I’ve very rarely had a woman I’ve had sex with once who didn’t want a repeat performance. Who’s to say I wouldn’t end up with a few new girlfriends? :smiley:

I’ll also bust the hypothesis. Male here and I’d definitely rather be with one woman 20 times than 10 different women one time each. I know 20 is more than 10 which doesn’t hurt the decision but I’d still opt for one woman ten times than 10 women one time each.

I’d take the ten different partners. Twenty times with one partner implies a short fling of a week or so, and doesn’t offer the emotional satisfaction of a long term relationship. So I’d go for the variety and excitement of new partners.
