Using a SDMB meme certainly shows that you are a seasoned observer of the happenings here…
If you’re getting a general impression, then there must be multiple examples that exist; choose from any of them. I can think of posters that match each of your hypothetical impressions (they are likely the same ones you may have in mind), and I could find posts to back it up. If I was going to start a Pit thread leveling my impression at any of those posters, I would be more than ready to cite examples. However, I’d rather not open up a thread that contains viewpoints I have no intention of asserting. Doing so is a cop-out, wouldn’t you agree?
Also, don’t flatter yourself. You have not come close to being the recipient of a pile-on.

Your internet penis is indeed large, Captain Putdown. …

Wow, no ones ever given me a sig line before. <wipes tear> You like me, you really like me!
You think it’s big on the internet, you should see it in real life!
[QUOTE=Johnny Hildo]
… Despite the pile on, I find it somewhat heartening that this is my first Pit thread where someone hasn’t called me Dildo. This shows progress and maturity. Cuz it’s Hildo with an H. Not a D.

Nah, it shows that we in the hive know that dildos serve a useful purpose, Hildos not so much.
tomndebb, fluiddruit, Giraffe and Frank, thank you for your posts in this thread. I really appreciate all the hard work you guys do here to make this the bestest message board ever. In general the staff here performs in an outstanding manner and I can’t commend your efforts enough.

Once again, kudos on a job excellently done.

Don’t worry, Arnold. If you get too far up there, we’ll pull you out by the ankles.

That said, interesting thought. What would happen if two members ‘swapped’ member names? It could happen legitimately. Confuse people a bit, I think.

Techical note: No, it could not happen legitimately. We have a longstanding policy of retiring names permanently when the original user abandons it.
Then there is the small matter of our general antipathy to posters who are deceptive about their identities (as opposed to simply remaining anonymous) for the purpose of stirring up anger, hostility, or otherwise toying with the Teeming Millions.

Brilliant post. Concise and to the point. Almost poetic in it’s imagery. I must admit it brought a tear to my eye.
