Attempted suicide and successful suicide are often different creatures. There are many accessible ways to commit suicide with little chance of surviving, and there are reasons why one person may choose to take a handful of tylenol and then call 911 while another jumps off a bridge.
That said, both indicate great levels of pain, and it’s tasteless to try to pit the two against each other.

That’s a website that documents what these guys actually say about women. They show up themselves to comment and protest that the blogger is too hard on them.
Le Jac is a troll, plain and simple. I’ve found him on other boards where he’s actually made socks and used them to argue with himself and other people (to strengthen his arguments and also, just for fun/to mock other people). He’s even admitted to it (over there).
He’s also made comments elsewhere on the internet that he just likes to see peoples’ reactions to his posts on message boards. The fact that he continues to bump his own threads up on here just for attention almost proves that point. He basically just likes to talk to himself in those threads since he’s got most of the people in them on ignore (or so he says).
No idea why people still give him attention. Obvious troll couldn’t be any more obvious.

Already been addressed, I suppose, but success at killing oneself isn’t the salient issue – it’s propensity to harm oneself – and in that respect it’s really no contest; men just are less likely to make such attempts (cutting, burning, suiciding, starvation). We men have absolutely no monopoly on psychic or physical self harm.

It was its offshoring thread that confirmed it. Outlandish claims and diatribes against posters coming out of left field. Ridiculous, made up bullshit that had nothing to do with what others were saying and wild, provocative accusations that had absolutely nothing to do with what came before. Add in a lot of contradictory accusations–often in the same post–and you see someone acting the very definition of troll.
There are people here with somewhat repugnant viewpoints. Whatever. This is not that case. This is someone intentionally posting to get a rise out of others.
