WoW players: Chance to start an alt charcter on a new server

I moved to Steamwheedle Cartel about a month ago for similar reasons. I tried to play on Shadow Council for a while (I have friends on that server), but most of the other low-level players seemed to be alts. It got depressing to walk into Iron Forge every night and have to thread my way through crowds of Level 60’s gathering for raid groups while I was still doing the entry-level quests. Steamwheedle has only been up for about two months so there are lots of low-level players and it’s easy to find informal groups to play with.

It’s an RP server, so if you’re looking for that I strongly recommend it. The RP sucks in the newbie areas of course, but once you get out into the wider world I’ve had some really nice RP sessions with people. Right now I have two mains:

Donner – Level 24 Gnome Warrior
Acanthis – Level 18 Night Elf Hunter

Not sure how much I’ll play, but I made an undead priest named Rottgutt. Maybe I’ll see you all around!

Hopefully we can get enough people to get a guild going. Of course, we can just ask random people to help us start the guild charter, and then boot them out…

Yeah, I broke down and gave in to my terminal alt-itis. I now have an orc warlock named Rishka, a tauren shaman named Thundercloud, and an undead priest named Iphigenia.

Why, no…there isn’t a single server on which I only have one character. Why do you ask?

I need to add that I accidentally reflex-signed a random guild charter that was flashed to me last night in Org, so I’m tied up until they get approved and I can /gquit.
