My favorite is Voodoo Child
Another one I love is the Alison Knauss cover of Keith Whitley’s When You Say Nothing at AllHonorable mention to the UB40 cover as well.
Herman Brood’s My Way. This is the only rendition of this song I’ve ever heard where the singer sounds authentic. The video is a nice tribute to him as well.
While My Guitar Gently Weeps by Regina Spektor, from the Kubo and the Two Strings soundtrack.
Just stumbled across this:Lovesick Blues by Brandi Carlile
She’s so much fun. Thanks for link. (Of course, Leon Redbone’s version is great too.)
I love youngsters doing covers of geezer rock.
Antony & the Johnsons – Mysteries of Love
William Shatner–Garbage Man.
Never gets old.
Fun fact: He was a real life friend of the Cramps and was invited to Lux’s funeral.
I’ve always been fond of Clem Snide’s cover of Tears On My Pillow.
I also offer Save Ferris and their version of Come On Eileen. Used to have a nice video as well, but I canna seem to find it at this late hour.
Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa “I’d rather Go Blind” Best cover ever of this song ever? Maybe not but I’m feeling music-y (got a few beers in) tonight and nobody’s posted to this thread lately so here ya go.
Knight Rider theme on eight cellos:
If I had to pick, the two at the lower right are best to watch.
Nice! Love it.
I posted this cover of Rush’s “Subdivisions” by Jacob Moon in older threads but I think it well deserves a re-post.
Liked it. Thanks.
