I am replying to your post dated February 21, 2000, in which you posted Writers: Here’s how to deal with rejection letters. Clearly, a great deal of time and effort went into posting this message. However, since I have already read a great many others like it, it does not meet my needs at the present time.

I look forward to reading any messages you might wish to post in the future.

Sincerely,

I need to start responding to all my correspondence in this fashion.

For those of you who routinely come face to face with the Rejection Beast, consider The Rejection Quarterly.

They publish only previously rejected material, and five rejection notices must be included with your submission…Jeez–I hope they’re still in business (I haven’t checked.)
