X-files coming back next season? [Yes!]

I’ve noticed, though, that the opening credits sequence still looks low-res. The onscreen text looks HD, but the video/visuals look SD or worse. That may be an artistic choice.

I believe digital effects of any kind were not made in HD, so I have heard they remain SD and look kind of weird. I have yet to see any with major digital effects, though. However, perhaps the credits were only made SD since they are not-filmed like the show.

I dunno.

A little rant: those Fox idiots! They have X-Files scheduled for 10:00 on a Sunday night after a football game. At least there is a “NFL Postgame” show scheduled for 9:30 (haha), maybe they will cut it short or eliminate it when the game goes long.

So I’m having my Tivo record 3 hours longer (had options for 1.5 hours longer or 3 hours longer but nothing in between.)

Fox loves killing shows (like Futurama) by scheduling them on Sunday nights after football games.

I stopped watching the original because of the tiresome alien plots. I was hoping for MOTW, though this concentration probably wouldn’t make sense in the context of six episodes.

Vast, multi-decade alien-based conspiracy? I’m taking it off my DVR :mad:

Yeah, Skinner looks younger than Mulder now. Scully looks great (just saw her in “The Fall,” so I was prepared for the physical changes; she’s remarkably thinner than she was in original series. Too skinny, to my tastes – but I know she was preggers for better part of a season).

Again, most episodes will be monster of the week. I’ve heard episodes 2 and 3 are great(especially 3).
