Yep - had to watch, just 'cuz the concept is so goofy. It’s pretty good so far…I have no idea what’s gonna happen.

It was stupid.
Glad to hear it, I had my attention diverted and totally forgot about it.
How much longer 'till X-files gets canned?
Don’t make me get Glenda on your ass.
I thought the episode was pretty good, interesting format, not real ending, but entertaining none the less.
This is the last season, probably.
The episode tonight was all right, by the way. Like last weeks episode, the thing they were looking for was obscure and not tangible. It’s dumb in that sense.
O.K., I watched it, and I was enjoying it o.k., but I got sucked into a long distance call that I had to take, and as a result I missed then ending.
So it appeared that everyone was getting killed by what ever they feared the most. I think the last thing I saw was that woman who worried so much about the virus apparently died from it. (During the autopsy)
So, what happened?

Bite me. This episode is brilliant. Although maybe you have to be a COPS afficianado to fully appreciate it.

Watching the end of it now.
I thought it was damned fabulous. Well, maybe the actual episode was an average, yet interesting show. But the concept of combining “X Files” and “Cops” was brilliant. What a corker!
One of the reasons that I like The X Files is because of episodes like this one. This show often changes the pace from the conspiracy story to a welcome change of pace. (I also liked the episode with the vampires).
The facts, although interesting, are irrelevent.
definitely running out of ideas…
the end of the show is near. i always knew they were dragging it out too much, so i stopped watching it

I too thought the concept was awesome ! The way they even started it with the COPS theme and went to break the same way COPS does. I also liked the plot, but I felt the ending was sort of a cop out (no pun intended).
Sort of on the subject, wasn’t “The Simpsons” excellent tonight ? The PBS chase scene had me in tears, and the end with the FOX telethon was too clever.

Oh, wait…don’t tell me! Is this the episode where they almost kiss, but then don’t? (sarcasm, btw)
“I get the meat and the cheese, but why the bun?”
“Yeah, a bun is neither meat nor cheese.”
“Word!”
I thought the concept was hysterical, but it wasn’t as funny as I had hoped. Still pretty good, though.
Did anyone else have Blair Witch flashbacks when they were in the crack house at the end?

“Don’t Do It.”
The concept was hysterial, but it just wasn’t as good as it could have been. The whole domestic fighting with Steve and Edie (however you spell his name) was pretty funny, though. I didn’t get the end at all. And yeah, I definitely had a Blair Witch flashback there. I also had one when I was watching The Others last night and they kept showing that old guy’s Vietnam dreams.
And I thought the Simpsons was funny tonight till they got to the very end. For some reason, I wasn’t amused.
When are you going to realize being normal isn’t necessarily a good thing?
Totally unrelated: Talera, this is the first time I’ve ever seen one of my old sig lines recycled. Granted, it’s not really MINE…I snagged it from Practical Magic, but still…I only changed it a few days ago. Spooked me a little, cuz for a minute I was trying to remember when the hell I posted to this thread.
“It’s okay. I wouldn’t remember me either.”
Gotta say Tal - yeah I was thinking “Blair Witch” too. Had to be the first person p-o-v combined with hearing all those screams and noises but never actually seeing anything. I doubt it was Carter’s intention to mimic BWP, but it sure stood out to me as well.

I loved it. Although I think part of the reason COPS works (in it’s own way) is the format of “shoot-and-run, shoot-and-run, shoot-and-run, we’re done,” 1/2 hour. The hour of giggly cameras was a bit much. But I loved the character interaction, and the autopsy scene rocked. (“Because the FBI ::strained smile:: has nothing to hide.”)
I turned to my sister during the crack-house scene and said “very Blair Witchian.” glad I wasn’t the only one…
