I’m a relative newcomer to X-men, and even I found them funny. No doubt those in the know will find a lot to laugh about!
Dood, that was wicked awesome. I loved Wolverine terrible canadian accent…and the fact that he was on every team. Didn’t mention the avengers though.

No specific part was really funny, but the overall situation was hilarious because it is so true.
Funniest (and truest) part: Wolverine being on every team.
Thise made me laugh out loud. I had to fight the urge to go to a comic book store since I’ve been out of the loop for a couple of years. I hear Excalibur is back?

Great cartoons! Hilarious! But they were talking so fast that I didn’t catch all the dialogue. Has anyone done a transcription? Also when Cyclops is assigning teams, they whizzed by so fast, I didn’t get a good look at all the characters.
Not really. There’s a title called Excalibur but it’s not about the team Excalibur. It’s got Xavier and Magneto and some other people I don’t care about.

Maybe you’re thinking of that episode of Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends that guest-starred the X-Men. They gave Wolverine an Australian accent.
Actually there is a very good reason for this. In addition to the two appearances of the X-men on Spider-Man and his amazing friends there is a television pilot called “Pryd of the X-men” where wolverine has a BAD and I mean ** BAD ** Australian accent.
“Pryd of the X-men” was done by the same animation studio that did G.I. Joe, Transformers and (as a lady friend pointed out to me) Jem. This pilot featured animation far superior to the fox X-Men series. I watched it with a friend who is a big G.I. Joe and Transforms fan and said Jem fan they both had fun trying to figure out which voice actors where being reused. It’s an interesting and worth while watch for a fan of any of the four franchises
I liked the part in the first one where Wolvie is talking about the times he’s been killed, but no one is listening to him.
Favorite line:
“All right, team, you’ve heard Beast. Jean has once more turned evil. So we’re just going to have to kill her. Again.”
I loved it. I’m going to go watch it. Again.
And that’s kind of interesting…because, for awhile, Marvel published the G.I. Joe and Transformers comics. AND there were Joe/Transformers and Transformers/Marvel Universe crossovers, in the comics. (Though they’re not “canon” anymore, I don’t think. All the geeky details here.)
