No, that’s not why you figured you’d say something Opal, and you know it. Your post in this thread was far from innocent, so don’t even try to pull that one on me. What you did was come into a thread that was directed to me and techchick, where people were expressing concern over having submitted pictures to our site without seeing any recent updates, and declaring that on your site they won’t have to wait for anyone, they can do it themselves [insert OpalCat gloating here]. It was intentional, it was rude, it was inappropriate in this thread (given all the other places where you’ve made your announcement about it) and you know it.
I know how you feel about me and how far back your grudge against me goes regarding The People Pages and I’m not the one who’s been acting like this is a competition. You had your pages up long before I started this one – and this one wasn’t even started by me initially, I just took it over from techchick. But when I did, and people liked it and were having fun with it, you started all your moaning and crying about how everyone seemed to forget about poor, poor, pitiful you and all your hard work. (Funny, I didn’t see you whining when techchick was doing the picture pages - hmmm.) Not once did you ever post anything complimentary (at least not that I can recall) or indicate to me in any way that you’d be interested in, or even willing to, link our sites together.
So Opal, please don’t go there with me over this whole competition issue. I honestly have no issue with your site whatsoever. You have an incredible talent that I could never hope to come close to – and I’m not even going to try. But I’d certainly appreciate it a lot if you would refrain from your little semi-disguised, backhanded comments in threads that truly have nothing to do with you or your site. Thank you ever so kindly.
